The long awaited anime series of Capcom's hit adventure game Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) finally gets a date. According to its official site, the show will broadcast on nationwide TV in Japan starting April 2 on the YTV network.
For what's become rare with anime shows in Japan, Gyakuten Saiban will air at primetime 5:30pm on Saturdays rather than the affordable midnight slots. Animation studio A1-Pictures, known for various hits including Sword Art Online, Working!, and Gate, will be handling the project.
From what's been revealed so far, the anime seems to follow protagonist Ryuichi Naruhodou's adventures from the game's first installment.
