DICE Summit Nintendo Q & A Transcript with Shigeru Miyamoto (Gamespot)

(Gamespot.com, Quoted) - "Nintendo held a small breakfast reception this morning at the DICE summit to allow journalists to question Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo's director and general manager of the corporate planning division in Kyoto, Japan, Satoru Iwata. The following is a complete transcript from that meeting. "

"'Q: We've heard that Mr. Yamauchi is going to retire. Who will take his position afterward?

SI: Mr. Yamauchi has been saying for some time now that he was going to retire this year. And he's actually already said this to his staff at Nintendo of Japan at the beginning of the year as well. And he's been saying it recently again. However, while I'm sure he knows and has a plan for what will happen after his retirement, he hasn't said exactly what that plan is. ...

SM: Since all of you have shown up so early this morning and some of you are probably hung over, I'm sure you're looking for solid answers to at least a few questions. So, I can say that I'm sure it's not me. [laughs] "

Capcom updates Biohazard GameCube section, Old HQ Movies to be Deleted

Capcom has updated the official section dedicated to their upcoming GameCube remake release of Biohazard 1. The updated sections are "Other Characters", "Creatures", and "Wesker's Report II".

In addition, Capcom has announced that previous high resolution movie files hosted under their section will be deleted during an update in 3/15, and likewise, high resolution movies released from now on will only be available for a period of 2 weeks.

BioHazard for the GameCube is scheduled for release in 3/22, priced 6800 Yen. The package includes 2 disks and a Memory Card 59.

Nakoruru Adventure game for the DreamCast, Delayed to 3/28

Sega has revealed that the Nakoruru adventure game "Nakoruru - Ano hito kara no okurimono" for the Sega Dreamcast, has been rescheduled in release from 3/21 to 3/28.

Originally a PC game by Inter-lets Co., the Nakoruru adventure game has been ported to the DC by KoolKizzs Inc. In addition to newly added modes such as the "read-back mode" as well as a "character clock" for the VMU, the Dreamcast edition also comes with a Nakoruru figure (125 x 54 mm). [ Image ]

Short Comment- Yipes, Missed it since 2 months back...

I can't believe I missed this- the Official Final Fantasy Unlimited site released a number of wallpapers since a while back.

The anime itself is a bit lame, but it has its interesting points. Cheaply reused animation patterns, 90% Square commercials (guess they couldn't find that many sponsors), Ryuji Yamazaki voice actor for enemy sidekick, and the somewhat-adult-appealing-physiqued heroine despite the anime being oriented as a total kid's show, are a number of factors which actually spice up the anime in an awkward manner.

Too bad that it probably won't be lasting for much longer though, due to the lack of funds.
