Short comment: CNN- Michael Jackson flys to United Kingdom for lectures

"LONDON, England -- Pop superstar Michael Jackson is due to deliver a lecture on child welfare at a UK university on Tuesday. His speech at Oxford University was expected focus on Heal the Kids, a charity that Jackson set up in 2000 with Rabbi Schmuely Botech, 42, author of Kosher Sex and The Jewish Guide to Adultery."

"Jackson's appearance at The Oxford Union follows that of O.J. Simpson, Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, and Malcolm X... Jackson, renowned for his famous "moonwalk" dance, was in a plaster cast following a fall at his California ranch. "

	Aruze Purchases broadcasting company

	Reuters Japan reports Aruze co. -owner of SNK, to have purchased all stocks of broadcasting company "Nippon Amusement Broadcasting". Buying all 900 stocks with 3,100 Million Yen, Aruze has made Nippon Amusement Broadcasting into a complete subsidiary of their group - likewise to Sigma, Seta and SNK. By utilizing the subsidiaries, Aruze plans to become a global entertainment group. [ Link: Reuters Japan ]


	Tokyo Game Show to have 131 games on display- Decrease to 30% of previous Show volume

	CESA has announced 49 companies and 131 titles to be displayed at the Tokyo Game Show, held 3/30-4/1. The number of games to be displayed at the show is nearly 1/3 of the 380 titles shown at the previous Tokyo Game Show in 9/22-24/2000. 	Capcom to begin tournament "Capcom vs SNK- Fighting knuckle to the next millennium"

	Capcom has announced to begin their next tournament regarding their hit fighter game "Capcom vs SNK". Likewise to the previous tournament, the games will take place in Plaza Capcom on Kichijouji, Tokyo- Japan. 32 players are allowed for entery, use of hidden characters and edit colors are allowed. In addition to the matches, talks and exhibition matches with the game developers are scheduled. It has not been made clear if any details on Capcom vs SNK 2 will be revealed at the tournament. 	Short comment: Asahi News- Police uncovers production line of Lethal, Shooting Pens

	According the the Asahi News dated 3/6/01, the police in Aichi prefecture- Japan, have uncovered a production line of pen shaped guns. 100 sets of pen shaped guns were confiscated by the police, together with the mold used to produce the pen style guns, and some standard handguns. The pen shaped guns were 17 cm long, and allowed for one bullet to be loaded. The production line has been identified to be related to the Japanese mafia, most notably the Yamaguchi clan.
