Soul Calibur 2 announced for Arcade release on July 5th (G-Front)

Arcade PCB retailer G-Front has revealed Namco's announcement of Soul Calibur 2 to be released on July 5th, priced 328,000 Yen.

Short Comment- Summarization of VF4 Evolution Info and Images

Here goes some short notes on VF4 Evolution that were revealed yesterday.

- Images (some from IGN) are available at [ Videogamerx.net ].

- VF4Evo's leaflet available at [ ChallengerAM ].

- According to Impress Gamewatch's article, there are apparently 2 new modes in VF4 Evolution:: "Mission mode" and "Quest mode". In Mission Mode, the player is given a condition to beat the CPU, such as "throw the CPU opponent 5 times" or "defeat the CPU opponent within 30 seconds". In Quest Mode, the player is given a real-life challenge via the VF.net (now accessible from Internet with a PC), such as "beat a Rank 7 player five times", or "beat a famous player who came to a certain event".

Sounds interesting, eh? But man, the new characters sure look unforgiving. I wonder if Goh's missing teeth will be available as add-on items. Thanks to Dorikyasu for the VF4Evo Images link.
