SNK successor Playmore has released an official statement of upcoming games to be released for the home consoles. The titles and their platforms goes as follows.

Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku (New Power Instinct) is developed by Noise Factory and produced/distributed by Playmore with license from Altus.

Software producer Sega Enterprises has announced officially that their scheduled release for the Playstation 2- Eternal Arcadia, is canceled.

Sega explains that while they first scheduled for the Dreamcast title to be ported to multiple consoles, they have changed their decision to focus on the Nintendo GameCube.

While the PS2 version has been canceled, Sega stresses to put all efforts into the GameCube port, making it more than a plain port from the DC version by increasing the game's quality and adding new features.

Software producer Noise Factory Co., has opened the site for their upcoming NeoGeo release, "Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku" (New Power Instinct).

While the site does not give details on the game yet, the character roster reveals that the cast will be from Power Instinct 1 & 2, and not from the series' future storyline- "Groove on Fight".

Doujin PC soft maker Eternal Frontier has announced their upcoming new release, "Eternal Fighter Zero Ver 2.00 -Blue Sky Edition".

EFZ Ver 2.00 will be an add-on disk to the original Eternal Fighter Zero. EFZ Ver 2.00 is currently confirmed to have three new characters in the game, deriving from the PC game "AIR".

Eternal Fighter zero Ver 2.00 is scheduled for release beginning 8/11, price undetermined.

A short note on reports from other site(s) mentioning that Capcom will be making a Capcom all-star VS game on the System 246-- While it seems to have been reported that there was an official announcement published in magazines, there have been no such statements, including Enterbrain Co.'s Arcadia Magazine. The rumor/news roots from the arcade chain web site Challenger-AM, which expects the game to be released on the end of the year.

Although a new VS title has been rumored for about a month now, it's best to take it as rumor for the time being and wait until the AM show in September.
