Marvelous Entertainment has released additional information of their GBA release of King Of Fighters, through Enterbrain Publishing.

The official title of the GameBoy Advance version of KOF has now been announced as "The King Of Fighters EX -Neo Blood". As previously revealed, the storyline of the game takes place in the blank space of time between the Orochi chapter and Nests chapter.

Thus far, one new character has been announced for KOF EX; a girl named Moe Habana (pronounced Mo-eh Habana). An 18 year old girl, Moe has been raised in the States, though both of her parents are Japanese. While others do not know, Moe's inherits some of the ancient martial arts which has been passed through generations of her family. Moe's voice will be casted by former Neo Geo celebrity Reiko Chiba.

In addition to Moe, a number of striker-only characters have also been announced: Whip, Jhun, Chin, Shingo, Yuri and Joe.


The King Of Fighters EX is schduled for release by Marvelous Entertainment in Winter, price undetermined.

There's no doubt that everyone has been talking of the new art style of KOF2001. Contrary to what many viewers may be assuming, the artist is not Korean, but a SNK employee- this was made clear in an interview by Enterbrain Publishing last month.

However, no artist name was brough up, making fans guess of who the drew them. The biggest candidate as of now is an artist named Kaeru, whose works can currently be seen in his former site. While there's no doubt that he works under SNK, is he the KOF2001 artist? You be the judge.

Frequent visitors to this site have undoubtedly seen that something has been happening during the past few weeks. To make the long story short, there was first a short haitus from updates due to personal reasons- they're not all solved yet. Fortunately, one of the main reasons was that I needed to get a new PC, and that has been solved- hence, the update.

Second up, this site is eating up a considerable amount of traffic. Of course that's good news, but it's also troublesome for obvious reasons. Most of it is due to the soup/news page, meaning that I'll need to separate news by the day, in more frequency. Hotlinked images from other sites aren't helping either, but that's not something I can do about. This server (thanks to Lanzer) is quite confortable, and I'd rather trim up the pages than move, for the time being.

That said, please bear whith the interesting actions which may take place in the next few weeks... all in all, it'll benefit the site.


PS- Anyone care to guess where the girl image is from?
